Newtesol finishes successfully the complete fabrication of a MPC Dummy Training Weight for the nuclear central of Asco II.
The scope of the contract was the fabrication of a container filled with concrete, which will be used in the training of movements of nuclear waste materials containers.
The difficulty of this work was obtaining a specific weight, dimensions and gravity center with a very restrictive tolerance.
In order to achieve this, we used several load cells as we poured the concrete.
The performance of this big project strengthens Newtesol’s position in the international market of fabricators of parts for the nuclear industry.
